Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is a "Community Supported Bakery?"
A: Good question! The "Community Supported Bakery" model, or "CSB," works by ensuring that you, our subscriber, get a fresh loaf of handcrafted bread delivered right to your door each week for an upfront, one-time payment. Because you pay for a whole "season" in advance, we are able to offer you product at a discount. We can offer this discount because now we don't have to do the extra advertising/marketing to sell that same bread. So... it is good for our subscribers (guaranteed bread at a discounted price) and good for us (no guess work in sales, no wasted product). Everyone wins! Yay community!
Q: Can I choose which bread I receive?
A: Typically not. We have limited oven space and kitchen time, so we are unable to offer alternative bread options most weeks. When we open our new bakery in downtown Minot, this will change!
Q: What if I am out of town one week?
A: You have options! You can either: donate your loaf (we will get it to a good home!) or send your bread to a friend or neighbor (Minot residents only).
